We will probably move the CMF to version 1.3 when it's released which will
hopefully fix this bug.

I'm back!
and thanks to brendan (sp?) of http://clickass.org I am able to boot
into Slackware v. 7.0 if I don't press shift and type "win" as the pc
is booting.
the saddest thing is that we've verified that the nic I got clearance
from buy.com to save $10 and which has caused me various headaches
