Because of a call for papers for the Saturday, October 22, 2005 "Crisis
Carnival" that I received by mail last night, and because of tiredness
and tiredness with traipsing around. I stayed here all day. First I wrote and
re-wrote the following:
Carfreeuniverse comes from my questioning about how to
live. Please visit the site and bring questions to the presentation
about any aspect of it. The site contains stories of: my 2-month stay
at Earthaven Ecovillage; my bicycle ride across the US and Mexico
subsisting partly on roadkill and wild plants; finding contentment
while living without a car near San Diego State; developing a personal
practice; and efforts to create a more responsive social environment.
Carfreeuniverse evolved from my earlier sites, like experienceart, where I found challenge in publishing "intimate."
I prodded "shouldn't." In addition to that expansion of expression, I
value the dialog between my past, present, and future selves: I start
to think about writing something, then I become engaged in writing it,
often attempting to create what I will want to read, and some of it I
do read.
With carfreeuniverse I have tried to make both the technology and the
content valuable to you too. Everyone can use it to self-publish. It is
part of my effort to encourage others to dream and to question and to
share the result.
Then I got to adding entries to experienceart.

certain questions, questions about the origin and purpose of language
based thought,

but more questions of the origin and the purpose of the creator of language-based thought.
You may start to ask, but I quickly lose,
we are here only to evolve in certain ways, and there are certain ways we do not think
if we choose to continue living.

You should be daydreaming. What are you thinking?
Explainable by the convergence theory of communication.
the more you read this stuff, and the less you've thought on your own, the more you converge to me, the less different you are.
Of course this becomes a problem if you go off your own way that you
are so divergent that your ideas are not of interest to any of the
people around you.
