p114 to have a deep restructuring impact on the discipline
(1) it must introduce a theoretical framework that allows us to view the social environment in a new, fruitful way. must provide insight and a source of new research questions.
(2) Second, it must provide a blueprint for developing researchable problems. a strategy for generating evidece relevant to the theoretical questions.
(3) the ideas and methods must fall on fertile ground. the intellectual climate must be ready to move into the domain opened by the work.

A strategy is needed for dealing with the large amounts of possible areas of research.
My plan is to research the dreamer/improving orientation as a cultural phenomena, and in the end develop a plan for encouraging this orientation (if the construct proves valid and measurable), and then testing the effectiveness of aspects of that plan.

We cannot tolerate the religionists any more. There must be a new religion and it will be aggressive but non-violent. A scientific scientology/mormonism? This upon seeing 'why 50 scientists choose to believe in creationism)

Need to find people oriented similarly to me, who might they be?
