My friend and apartment-mate William Brauner(?), from Bordeaux, is studying under the best pastry chef in the world for 3 days, $750. He saw the best pastry chef in New York/USA there Jacques C?, who has a chocolate shop(?) in brooklyn.

What do I hope to accomplish studying this sociology book?

Study it from perspective of what might be relevant to experiencescience and experienceart, and from the perspective of how the author and other theorists might/could be considered experienceartists. And also, what I enjoy.

It is perhaps time to strategize

what do I know so far, and how is it relevant?

Giddens is interesting
Habermas is interesting
Ritzer's efforts to synthesize/provide a vantage point from which to consider all social theory, and the relations between differing theories.
