woke up, thinking about asking asia something, which I've since got off my mind. ate, drank, took a vitamin E. Reread the last two entries, fixing some minor things, and which I don't like too well, for some reason. Maybe just their newness, or smugness, some of which I know is wrong? I don't know how much I will miss her, when that time comes, but I won't not miss her. Maybe reading a bit of progoff has been bad for the audience because it seems I've gotten to writing about more boring stuff. Progoff seems to encourage the recording of data--the happenings of daily life--separate from feedback--the evaluation of those happenings. Previously I was avoiding recording the more humdrum, attempting to save this space for the more incredible. Because, I am the primary audience for this work, and I'd rather have interesting reading.

oh, and Rachel emailed me, asking about Monterey! I was afraid I had lost her. She's leaving tomorrow to be a trail leader in oregon. I'm realizing how lucky I am to have two younger sisters. Perhaps having good relationships with them (now, after relishing terrorizing them for years), helps with these in some way?
