From cleath@u.washington.edu Mon Feb 10 19:23:20 1997 Date: Mon, 10 Feb 1997 19:23:19 -0800 (PST) From: Colin Leath To: "being_group -- Subject: meetings! Sorry for the delay, This week and perhaps for the next few weeks let's plan on meeting at 5:30 in the south campus center. We can meet on the third floor in the southwest corner of the building. There is a big, nice room there that overlooks portage bay. If there are people in that room having a meeting, let's meet in the nearest vacant alcove. The part of the building I am talking about is near rooms #342-#350. We can't formally reserve meeting space in the south campus center until we have at least 7 people. I am not able to get a regular meeting space in the hub at this late date in the quarter, but the south campus center is free, and while it is out of the way, it is very nice. Unfortunately, meeting at the south campus center is a bit exclusive. University heights center has a sign up advertising meeting space, and if it's free that might be a more accessible possiblity. Let me know if you have suggestions. If you have problems making this meeting date/time/location, let me know. --- Last week's meeting was pretty fun. It was just Gordon and I, and I was pretty beat, not having slept the night before, so I turned off the lights and lay on the carpeted floor, put my feet up on the heater and looked out the windows at the darkening blue of the sky. We talked for a while about the state of things, and then took naps. It was very relaxing. There have many cool developments since last week including dill seeds and a clearer understanding of the nature of consciousness (thanks to my psych 102 book). If I can get enough rest, I hope I will be in an expansive mood wednesday evening. Hope to see you then! Colin
